How to Select a Profitable Affiliate Niche Market

Posted in: no category in joom's Blog

The market. That is the foundation of your affiliate marketing business. Choose the right market, and you will be laughing your way to the bank. So how do you choose a red-hot, profitable affiliate niche market?

The first thing you can do is look at your own hobbies and interests. Are any of them potentially profitable markets you can enter into? It is easier to succeed at a business you love. However, just because you want an affiliate market to be profitable, does not mean it is.

Some places to check out whether an affiliate market is profitable are Ebay, Amazon and Magazines.com. Look through the best selling products and try to find topics which seem to be selling best at the moment. For research on Magazines.com, pay special attention to niches where there is a fiery competition among authority magazines. It means the niche is piping hot.

Once you have a potentially profitable market, it's time to confirm your "suspicions" by using a
keyword research tool or software. The two best places for keyword research are Wordtracker and Google's Adwords keyword tool. The former has a free option which is good enough for research. For a desktop solution, Good Keywords is a good free software, but it grabs results from Overture, which currently seems to be on it's way out of the market.

So now that you have gone through these steps, you should be left with a few markets which you want to look further into. You'd want to decide which market is the easiest to enter into. Also, does the market serve both genders or just one? Does the market have people who are readily online searching for information?
